It's that time of year again with summer in full swing, our bear run, Weekend Of Outrageous Fun (W.O.O.F. '09)*, is approaching and fast!
We've taken great individual events we've been doing for years and turned it into a nice small scale relaxing bear run. This year makes our fifth go round with a laid back holiday bear run weekend. This year we.re planning to enjoy a few bar nights, Saturday afternoon at our local renowned Kennywood Amusement Park, with an afternoon potluck picnic of games and connecting with friends on Sunday. Later on Sunday night we chill out with a Movies and PJs slumber party style social where we snuggle up with pillows and blankets while enjoying fun movies with belly rubs all around. All this at a decent rate that doesn't kill your wallet.

We've heading back to our host hotel, the Parkway Centre Best Western, which is offering rooms (based on availability) at the special group Labor Day rates of $99 to $109 a night plus tax. August 28th is the deadline for registration for the weekend run packages. All registrations after August 28th will be handled on a case by case basis.
